Loc: HOUSTON, TX yea def. let them know they are only allow to keep 2 each in the month of nov. a guy was arristed few weeks ago at the ferry landing, he had 27 flounders in his truck and another 11 on the stringer. the game warden came cuffed him, impounded his truck and fishing equipment and his bail was somewhere in the $20-25 thousand. its so not worth it guys!!!

Din pacate datorita sanatatii in toamna aceasta nu am fost in stare sa merg la pescuit desi era perioada de migratie a calcanului.Pescuiesc numai la jig la calcan si de multe ori prindeam mai multi calcani decat pescarii ce pescuiau cu peste viu M-a surprins sa vad ca un pescar pe care nu-l cunosc aminteste de mine pe o postare a forumul pescarilor texani referitor la pescuitul calcanului.
Inainte era voie sa reti 10 calcani zilnic peste 14 inch(35,56cm.),dar de anul trecut nu mai poti retine decat 5 calcani legali,iar in noiembrie numai 2.
Populatia de calcani s-a micsorat de la an la an si de aceea s-au luat aceste masuri.

In postarea de mai jos puteti citi cele scrise de pescarul american pe care nu-l cunosc despre pescuitul meu la calcan la ROLLOVER PASS :

Posts: 306 I was all over Bolivar Wednesday. More flounder than you know what to do with at Rollover but a lot are undersized. Gotta buy a dozen finger mullet to even find two keeper sized. Way too many people around the ferry landings these days. Most people don't know how to fish Rollover properly. I just stand there catching fish while everyone scratches their heads. I'm not the only one but I enjoy a good laugh with the other people that understand how the pass works. The only exception to the rule is that Jean Scurtu guy. He catches tons right in the middle of the pass. I have almost no luck there. As far as getting there early.....that's only if you stand with the rest of the sheep. You can catch your two flounder this time of year at any point in the day."

Nea Jeane, ma bucur sincer sa vad ca macar pe alte meleaguri "unde-i lege nu-i tocmeala". La noi, pana si asa-zisi pescari de competitie umplu traista in prohibitie.

In alta ordine de idei, nu ma mir ca ai intrat in folclorul locului , cred ca n-au mai vazut aia in viata lor pescar sa dea UL la artificiale in mare si sa mai si prinda .
