Aia cu New York am vazut-o in franceza pe youtube, defci sigur exista ambele variante.

Fishing Adventurer: Episodes

Cuba
Upon arriving in Havana, Cyril finds a group of locals hand-fishing from the breakwater along the side of the road and decides to join in on the action. Cyril takes out his trusty spinning rod and, to the disbelief of the locals, quickly lands an urban Jack Crevalle. From there, he's back on the road to his next destination, Jaguey Grande, where he meets up with his friend Felipe, who knows where the tarpon hide in the lush jungle of the Rio Hatiguanico. Along the way, Cyril stops in to visit another friend and together they jump into some action packed fishing along the bridges of a road built in the middle of the ocean. Finally, Cyril pushes the adventure deep inside the jungle along a mangrove-lined river to discover some magnificent, un-chartered fishing spots and taps into some extraordinary tarpon fishing action using his favorite top-water lure: the popper.

Venezuela
Cyril is on a remote fishing experience in the stunning Venezuelan jungle. He's heading to the eastern shore to fish from a dugout canoe with Warao Indians. In the Orinoco Delta, this tribe still fish to survive the same way they have for centuries, and Cyril will experience a good taste of the authentic Warao lifestyle. Soon, the many voracious tarpon than inhabit these waters have chewed up all of Cyril's light colored flies, but that's not going to stop him. He quickly pulls out his spinning rod and starts casting poppers trying to entice these beasts to break the surface.

Nicaragua
One of the best places on earth to find giant tarpon, a.k.a. the silver king, is Nicaragua. So that is where Cyril is heading to encounter some of these beasts face to face. After a handful of rides by plane, taxi and boat, Cyril finally reaches the San Juan River, which winds more that one hundred miles from Lake Nicaragua down to the Caribbean Sea. With the help of a local eco-tour outfitter named Philippe, he has the chance to visit this tropical destination in search of these prehistoric beasts that can tip the scales at over 300 pounds. After a couple of hours trolling through these magnificent waters, Cyril wants a change of pace, so he hops into his dingy and is off to explore the breathtaking coastline of a small remote island where he encounters another of Nicaragua's hard-fighting locals, the rainbow bass.

Texas
There is certainly no lack of Southern Hospitality in Texas, and the Fishing Adventurer is here in search of the world-famous Texas bass. Cyril meets up with local bass pro, Paul Keith and together in his high-tech fishing boat they are off to discover the beautiful Caddo Lake, its wonderful fishing and its unique moss covered cypress tree forest. From there, Cyril heads off to meet Henry Lewis, an old-timer who teaches Cyril a thing or two about the old style cane pole and bobber crappie fishing technique. Henry sure knows what he's talking about, having guided on this lake for over half a century and Cyril is excited to pick up a few new tricks

Louisiana
Louisiana is known as one of the birthplaces of Jazz, and Cyril can't help but stop in for a little taste of this famous music. He then heads into the heart of Cajun country, Southern Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina devastated this part of the world, many of the homes and boats in Grand Isle were destroyed, but Cyril still manages to get out fishing with Jules and his wife Pat. After catching a nice red fish and a big black drum in the marshes on the north side of the island, Cyril wants to go dunk his line around the many enormous oil rigs that dot the horizon. He quickly finds himself in the middle of some serious Jack Crevalle fishing action and finds out how tricky oil rig fishing deep in the gulf of Mexico can be.

Costa Rica
Costa Rica translates to the Rich Coast, and Cyril gets to experience why first hand. Saltwater fishing is the name of the game and Cyril finds himself catching fish from beach to beach. One of the best ways to explore the richness of the Costa Rican coastline is by all-terrain vehicle, so Cyril jumps on one and is racing across the golden sand beaches in search of the perfect spot. From hard fighting Jack Crevalle to magnificent snapper and yellowfin tuna, this is what Costa Rican fishing is all about. Cyril gets to experience for himself what the locals call "Pura vida" which roughly translates to pure living and good times. A local Rastafarian named Julio invites Cyril to stay at his tree house perched above the Costa Rican forest, then introduces him to Tortilla, a local fisherman who knows all the hot spots along this rich coast.

Quebec
Cyril is now in the province of Quebec to experience a taste of its unique fishing and culture. Not far from the city of Montreal is the Mohawk Indian reservation of Kahnawake. There he sets off with local musky master Joe Flo on his boat in Lake St. Louis and they quickly start pulling big fish on-board. After a good day of musky fishing Cyril heads off to Montebello and jumps in his dingy for some largemouth bass fishing action. From there it is off to Lake Ouimet in search of big smallmouth bass from a paddleboat. Nothing stops the Fishing Adventurer, not even the sub-zero weather up north, where Cyril is hunting for pike from a float tube while the snowy winter is in full swing.

Morocco
Cyril is on his way to Morocco. His first stop is a breathtaking reservoir in the middle of the spectacular Moroccan desert on the hunt for big bass. Then he's off to find another North-African landmark, the Massa River, where he will get into some serious bass fishing action. From there, Cyril meets up with two locals who take him fishing for some very impressive largemouth bass. He is then on his way to the small picturesque village of Aglou, known for having its homes carved right into the mountain side, to try his luck at Atlantic sea bass fishing from the rocky coastline.

Guinea Bissau
Cyril heads out to the remote islands of the beautiful Bijagos Archipelago, in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. After a long ride aboard local public transportation, Cyril finds a boat and captain that will take him deep into the Archipelago. He quickly realizes what Guinea Bissau has to offer a visiting fisherman when he finds himself right in the heart of a school of Jacks during a feeding frenzy. After an overnight stay in an authentic Bijagos village, he is invited to participate in a traditional breakfast filled with customary singing and dancing. Cyril then takes off in his dingy to find a sandbar that only appears during low-tide, from which he catches barracuda and snapper until the tide rolls back in. This is remote Africa at its best!

Ontario
Cyril is now fishing right at the base of the spectacular Niagara Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the view from below is just as stunning as from above. From there, he drives to Lake Ontario where he jumps onboard with a local fishing outfitter. With the help of Big Jim on the sonar, and the captain working the net, they quickly start landing big lake trout one after the other. They even manage to hook a nice king salmon. Cyril completes his Ontario fishing adventure with a float-plane trip deep into the thriving Canadian wilderness, to find a remote river, only accessible by canoe, on the hunt for sleek brook trout and walleye.

New York
When most people think of the Big Apple, they think of shopping, Time Square and yellow cabs, but Cyril has fishing on his mind. After a quick but productive striped bass fishing session in New York Harbor under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Cyril meets with a local fisherman who takes him to his favorite secret spot, an urban waterway under a highway in New Jersey, for some serious pike and bass action. Then Cyril is off to meet up with Captain Amanda Switzer, who takes him on a beautiful sight fishing adventure to catch blue fish and stripers in the clear, shallow waters surrounding Long Island. Then Amanda introduces him to two local shark masters and soon they are off to catch big blue sharks off the coast of Montauk.

Ireland
This time Cyril is off to Ireland to find some of the Luck of the Irish. His trusty fishing rod in hand, Cyril takes a stroll down the streets of Dublin and stumbles upon a river running right through the heart of the city where he starts fishing for the finicky mullet that lurk in these tidal waters. Cyril then rents a car to head out of the city to Loch Ramour in search of pike and it's not long before he catches a Celtic beauty. With his search for pike complete, Cyril decides to grab his fly rod and sets his sights on some Irish wild brown trout. To end off his Irish adventure, he hits the road to South Eastern Ireland for some sea fishing from the shoreline, and then by boat around a beautiful pocket of small islands just off the coast, hunting for sea bass and monster pollock.

Sweden
Cyril had often heard stories of the big wild brown trout that inhabit the pristine lakes and rivers of Northern Sweden, so now it was time to find out if those stories were true for himself. Before heading north to Lapland, Cyril meets up with a Swedish pike guru in the small Scandinavian town of Vastervik and together they are off to catch some of the big pike that lurk between the many islands of the coastal Baltic Sea. Strangely enough, these fresh water fish actually live in the brackish waters of the sea. The following morning, Cyril is on a plane headed north to Lapland, the land of the midnight sun. Fly rod in hand, he is on a mission to catch some of the mythical wild brown trout of the artic and knowing that he can fish through the night, he could not be happier!
